Juneteenth License Plate - Now Available

The Louisiana Juneteenth license plate is now available for purchase through the Louisiana OMV.  We have waited two years for this, after approval on June 7, 2023, when Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards signed a bill to authorize the sale of Juneteenth License Plates as a special license plate available for vehicles in Louisiana.  Members of the SWLA Juneteenth Committee were instrumental in getting the bill passed and witnessed the signing of it.  ​​
